Day2 : Stalin Shot
We reached to this place driving on a brick laid road. And I was very excited to see this fascinating sculpture. My imagination started working on different angles but finally I fixed to this. Surrounded by lush green grass and thick woods, this place is a very nice hangout place for all.
Nice clouds and sky! positioning the door between the "legs" is also cool, and good exposure too. It's usually hard to get the sky colors in at the same time since cameras don't handle contrast as well as the eye. More comments:
- straight lines - in this case you need to have them straight, this could have been done post-shoot (in the photo software)
- thirds - this time the roof is cutting the picture in half and the sculpture isn't sticking up high enough to give it a compositional effect, i.e. that the sculpture is the unifying subject on divided backgrounds. Still, there's some of the nice "reaching for the sky" feel to it.
